Expo Aviation has expanded beyond YouTube, we will continue to publish aviation videos as usual but we will also be expanding into aviation news & events.
Our History
We originally began as "Phil's Aviation Videos", a YouTube channel spin off from the popular(ish) Railway Video channel known as Phil6219. PAV was created simply to share one video, that of Vulcan XH558 performing an air show back in 2015 and following on from a few more displays of the Vulcan and add a couple of holidays to the Greek Island of Skiathos and Phil's Aviation Videos had started to build up a library.
When Phil was planning some new projects for the channel it was decided to change the name from the very clunky "Phil's Aviation Videos" to "Expo Aviation". The name itself is a homage to the radio call sign of Excel Airways, the airline that gave Phil his first job in the industry...
Phil Cribbin was cabin crew for a couple of airlines in the mid to late 2000s and following the 2008 recession has gone on to other projects, he is most known for being the guy behind Phil6219, the previously mentioned railway channel.
Phil has since returned to the skies as cabin crew for one of Europe's largest airlines.
